Dining at Home

I love cooking.  It wasn't until senior year of college when I finally had my own kitchen that I realized how much fun it is to create your food that's delicious.  It was around that time that Pinterest started to get popular (but was still invite only) so once my account was created, I became a total foodie!  I started spending my free time looking at recipes and letting my inner fatty out for the night.  It also allowed me to get creative and try recipes I never would have thought of.

I've always enjoyed baking, but sweets don't really take you far (unless you're trying to give gifts on a budget or hoping to expand your waist line by 3 inches).  While Pinterest let me try new cupcake recipes, I've indulged in the blogging world and began to see the home cooked food world out there and put my own spin on things.

Sadly I can't afford to eat out all the time (shocking for a recent college grad)  but really, I wouldn't want to.  I like to think that I'm a decent cook, so from time to time, I'll share some of my favorite recipes and hopefully they can add to your own repertoire of meals.  And the same thing goes with the restaurants, if you have suggestions, please do!
